• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update: Fuel pump was replaced again. Dealer said it is good to go. Just waiting on a panel to arrive to replace the one they scratched. Only 2 fuel pumps bad in all of Spyder land and I got both of them. :) My luck.

I agree. Seems they are relying on long distance troubleshooting with BRP instead of good ol fashion common sense troubleshooting. In my line of work, for the last 40 years, I only contact the vendor when I have tried everything I know to do and ruled out all I can.

Well, spoke too soon. Was going to ride Saturday, crank no start. My neighbor helped me push it on the trailer. Got to dealer and support guy tried to start it on the trailer. Crank no start. He stated, "kinda like the fuel pump, which we replaced." I also pointed out panels misaligned and...

Update: Spyder still at the dealer. They are going to change the fuel pump, but are missing a gasket/o-ring. Hopefully that comes in this week. I may get to ride it this summer. :)

Update: Spyder has been at the dealer for over 3 weeks now. Last update was that they swapped the ECM. No help. Now they are looking at wiring harness. They are troubleshooting with BRP which takes a while. Email today, answer tomorrow, etc. I am just happy they were able to reproduce the issue...

Me too if not under warranty and less than a year old. Whatever the issue, it is intermittent. I informed the dealer that it may be fuel pump related and to please check wiring associated with fuel pump. For one brief moment, I saw a message while scrolling through the display before performing...

    I don't think it was.

:) Sorry but, I think I have proven the no start issue has absolutely nothing to do with the battery. New battery was fully charged. And even if it wasn't, Spyder has started on a VERY less than fully charged battery. If any vehicle needs a fully charged battery in order to start, there is...

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

Well, I have started the Spyder regularly and let it run just to make sure it would start. Planned a 6 hour ride to the coast today for a long weekend. About every week, I would start the Spyder and let it run for 10-20 minutes. Started yesterday just fine. Kept it on trickle charger. All was...

Any way to modify an RTL to mimic the off-road features of the new Canyon?

Exactly. The only caveat would be grade. Could be an issue.

Any way to modify an RTL to mimic the off-road features of the new Canyon?

I have my SxS plated for county roads. Just did some FS roads in N. Georgia recently. $20 and liability insurance and you get a plate. And when the road crosses a river, I don't have to turn around. :)

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

With a difference in GC or 1.8", I would probably not make any different choices on routes. Still not considered a high clearance vehicle. Steep dirt roads would still be a no go. Maybe they will have weight plate accessories. :) However, with the improved approach angle, could make loading in...
