• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone touring on a Ryker?? Experiences?

Just thought I’d post one of my Rykers that is set up for long trips. My wife and I both do trips on our Rykers. We are planning to go to California from Nj in May if the temps out West aren’t in the 100 degree range. If that is the case we’ll head North to the Great Lakes and Canada. I just...

Has anyone looked at the top of the Fuel Pump from the inside? 2024 RT Limited

Thanks. The Ryker tank is about 5.2 gals, the auxiliary is 3.75. Mpg is pretty low, maybe 32 to 36 mph, so maybe 280 miles range. Time will tell. I need to do another one for the wife’s Ryker after I get this one sorted. We are doing a trip from NJ to Bishop Ca in May.

Has anyone looked at the top of the Fuel Pump from the inside? 2024 RT Limited

I started trying to figure out how to get the auxiliary tank mounted and plumbed. There isn’t a whole lot of space to work with as the Ryker is small and narrow. Here are a few photos of where I think things will be located. For mark up I’m using odds and ends from the scrap bin in my basement...

Has anyone looked at the top of the Fuel Pump from the inside? 2024 RT Limited

Jd, I’m running a low pressure external fuel pump from an aluminum 3.25 fuel tank mounted behind me on the max mount. I’ve ordered all the parts, just waiting for them to arrive and a warm day to set it up.

If it’s anything like the Ryker, the extra barb goes into the tank. I’ve drilled mine out to use as an auxiliary tank dump. -

Why so many Rykers for sale?

I have 2 Rykers, a 2020 and a 2023 Rally. The '20 had the fuel pump issue, which I replaced, and it’s been fine since. The '23 had the brake return spring issue, once I readjusted that it’s been fine. My wife and I have been from NJ to Halifax NS and many miles of various dirt roads with no...

Where are you from? Where do you live?

Jersey shore. No good riding here. Usually head West and North to Pa to ride.

Anyone near the Jersey Shore able to reset my Ryker's Transmission Service Light?

That’s what my manual says also. I could buy a PV3, but that’s $500, a lot of $ just to turn off a light. I may have to do it eventually, since I have 2 Rykers. I’ve already offered lunch and a beer but no takers. I’m still riding, but the service light is annoying.

Maybe that works for a quad but it doesn’t work on a Ryker.

I replaced the CVT belt and now I need the light reset. Anyone near the Jersey Shore able to reset it for me? Lunch and a beer on me.
