• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Your Favorite 1 Week Vacation by Spyder Travel?

I second or third or fourth - you get the idea - of Deadwood. The roads are amazing out there. Another suggestion would be Pennsylvania. Cruise across the North corridor, down the Poconos, and across the Southern routes (or vice versa). There is so much to see, so much history, and the roads...

    Tennessee Trip - I'm off to BajaRon's!!

Not quite eligible for that yet. ;) Good Ideas! My wife is queen of extra napkins. If you ever see us and are in need of a napkin, we got you covered. :cool:Good question, I'm not sure either. We plan to ride most of it - depending on time that day, so wherever the Moonshiner's part is, I...

Our 6x12 enclosed trailer set up for our Can Am Spyder S2S

@NutinElse2do - I appreciate the offer, and I will take you up on it! So far, in my limited search, the must have is a queen or bigger bed, and kitchen/bath access with any slides (if we end up with them) not extended. This coming from a couple that has not even been to a show to compare models...

Our 6x12 enclosed trailer set up for our Can Am Spyder S2S

This is our retirement model - still have a few years to go before then... Small-ish motorhome pulling the bike in a trailer. I just started doing my research on RV's. That's a whole 'nother rabbit hole to go down!

    Tennessee Trip - I'm off to BajaRon's!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Our trip is planned for later this year - early summer. Concentrating on National Parks and Historic places, but also fitting in fun rides like Cherohala Skyway, Moonshiner's 28, Devil's Triangle and the like. We have 10 days to explore all the area has to offer.

    Tennessee Trip - I'm off to BajaRon's!!

Been a while since I posted here. I've been reading, but usually don't log in just to read. We have all our pieces in place for our annual trip, 10 days in East Tennessee, North Carolina, and a touch of Georgia. The last time I rode this area was 2013 - seems like a lifetime ago - and was on our...

Interesting conversation at the gas pump - asked why I chose to ride a Spyder rather than 'a real motorcycle'?!

My friends give me a hard time about our Spyder. So be it, it makes them feel better, and I give it right back to 'em. Same with my family that rides. Strangers that come up to us, even other bikers, are curious. I answer their questions. I can't remember anyone commenting about a real bike...

Will using a USB Data blocker between my phone/glove box USB only allow charging? Will apps such as iHeart Radio/Apple maps still work?

Hey Troop, I used to use a data blocker to charge my phone and just bluetooth audio to the bike. The blocker was there so the computer didn't recognize my phone and "take over" through the BRP app - basically the bike didn't know the phone was connected, but my phone would charge. I've since...

Is the Radiator vulnerable to damage?

YouTuber Spyder Chris had a radiator punctured by a rock recently. It can and does happen. Put some grills on there and hope they catch it.

Wrapping/striping a frunk with matte or denim paint - Results?

I am happy with my '22 S2S. Went with Wrap My Spyder Tri-Wing Carbon Fiber. Put these on in August of '22, been through a lot of weather and there is no lifting. I just followed the instructions as written, very happy with the results. -

Good looking hot rod you got there. Welcome aboard.

Re-installed the primary muffler (cat) - the noise @ I/state speeds was not for me!

Not on our Spyder, but on our last Victory, I had Cobra Tri-Ovals. I loved the sound on takeoff and around town - nice deep rumble. But on the interstates, man would it drone. So I can understand exactly what you mean. Just got to be too much. Our S2S exhaust is stock, and most likely going to...
