• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Warm start issues - starts then stalls. Anyone else experiencing this or similar?

No. It doesn't buzz when warm. Only on cold starts. That's why I was hoping someone could check their bike and see if their pump "buzzes" on a warm start.... 🤞

He's done all that he reckons but the only thing that seems wrong to me is that lack of fuel pump priming when warm. I'm sure others I've heard when warm starting will prime the pump.

Warm start issues - starts then stalls. Anyone else experiencing this or similar?

My 2024 RT Limited is experiencing a problem of stalling while starting. If starting the engine from cold, it'll fire up fine and idle away no problems. It doesn't stall when driving off. All perfect. After driving and getting it to temperature, if I stop the engine for under 20 minutes it'll...

2024 RT Limited stalling at engine start when warm - anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

I don't actually have it on a tender yet. I haven't got around to hooking up the plug yet. But what you're saying makes sense. I'll get hold of a new battery and see what that does for it. Thanks for the info.

2024 RT Limited stalling at engine start when warm - anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

I kind of agree with you that BRP should be fixing it. However, this is a replacement bike for the previous one I had with block porosity issues. It was in the dealership for 6 months, and I have only just got this one; so I'm loath to be without it again for another half year! Going to order a...

2024 RT Limited stalling at engine start when warm - anyone else experience this? Any ideas?

My 2024 RT Limited is experiencing a random problem of stalling once while starting. If starting the engine from cold, it'll fire up fine and idle away no problems. It doesn't stall when driving off. All perfect. After driving for a few minutes, if I stop the engine for under 20 minutes it'll...

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

Unfortunately I'm in Australia so my dealership is hundreds of kilometers away and they are the nearest. The other ones are even further away. Most of the other spyder riders I've talked to have found their own "word-of-mouth reputable mechanic" (mostly non BRP certified though) however the...

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

I agree 100 percent. They just informed me yesterday that they can see the dye coming from around the oil pressure switch but they "need to remove the plastic from the right hand side of the bike to get a better look"!!! Seriously?!? Wouldn't you have removed the plastic covers from the start of...

Oil leak at 100 miles! New 2024 S2S

So just letting others know my (Australian) 2024 RTL has been leaking oil and coolant since the day I picked it up. I organised to have it looked at by the dealership and they replaced the water pump which apparently fixed the coolant leak but didn't fix the oil leak. Then they sealed all the...

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

That's where I was thinking I need to go. I was going to try drilling a small hole to access the top screw but I prefer your idea of wedging the T20 underneath the edge. 👍🏻👍🏻

How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

Yeah I have had a couple of looks again and I'm seeing the same as what you are. The screw at the top of the fixture is one of three. There are two more at the base of the light that screw straight down from above. I have moved the sub panel on mine by removing the two torx fasteners that you...

Wiring the Chin LED light - is the Black wire Earth, White Live?

Cheers I did look at that but by the time it lands here in Australia I'm looking at about 80 bucks Australian. If I could figure out what connectors slingmods and others are using I could make my own. Maybe even sell them to others in Australia looking for a cheaper alternative...

Wiring the Chin LED light - is the Black wire Earth, White Live?

So did you just cut the original cable coming out of the bike output and splice the wago connectors in with your extra wires?
