• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

28k Service - I must rant about my experience

Thanks in advance for bearing with me. Took my 24 RT Limited to my Portland, OR dealer for the 28k service (which I've reached at 2 years). Asked for confirmation that the coolant replacement was included since I had discovered a slight leak at the lower radiator hose connection. They noted the...

Any Suggestions for new Riding Footwear?

For my years on two wheels, Alpinestars Web Goretex were great boots. But upon moving to a 2024 RTL with the massive floorboards, I found that there was little or no airflow to my feet. In even moderately hot weather, my feet were cooking. Grabbed some BILT Pro Tourer Air Boots from Cycle Gear...

My 4 day trip with friends.

Beautiful place to be riding! Thanks for sharing.

What is the best way to hardwire a Garmin XT2 to a 2026 Can Am Spyder S2S?

Just to be sure, the two linked items provided above (I have both) provide power that is controlled by the ignition switch which is what most of us are happy with for a GPS. If you want always on hardwired power, you need to run down to the battery.

Alternator Shaft Squeal - not a Recall, not a Warranty Campaign, just a TST!

My dealer has the parts but says they are waiting on a special tool that is required to get the job done.

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one to sit down next to a tree for a quick nap only to find myself in the midst of a bunch of ants several minutes later. Fortunately I was wearing my one piece Roadcrafter back then and they didn't find a way in.

    Arkansas trip

I'll be there with 5 friends in September. We have five days of loops planned from our base in Harrison. Looks like some great roads for riding.

Front wheel hop when braking - suspension arm bushes, or... ?? Any help?

I'll add my bike to the list that have this problem. For me, it is when I brake hard starting at over 50 mph. Don't feel anything in the brake pedal, but boy do those front fenders shake!!! I'm just shy of 28k miles on my 2024 RT-Ltd so the bike is going in for the 28k service at the end of the...

Stainless KOTT “Keep Out the Trash" grill covers install requires holes in the panels - anyone used 3M tape or anything else instead?

I'm with you on hesitating to put holes in my Spyder. And your question has me surprised that I didn't even think about it when I put my KOTT covers on. Oh well, too late now. Though I'm guessing that I figured they'd never come off so it didn't really matter. Nonetheless, your question is a...

Wind Rider Seat Cover - Anyone have one? Any feedback?

Thanks, that's good to know! That attenuation might allow me to use the high setting which tends to be too hot for me. Currently I use a (gasp!) Harley Davidson Circulator pad that is easy to put on/take off as conditions change. I had to purchase it while on a trip when not much else was...

After 3 years of planning, I am riding Route 66 starting June 8

Riding it during the centennial anniversary year should make it a little more special. Enjoy!

Wind Rider Seat Cover - Anyone have one? Any feedback?

Side question, if I may: Since the primary goal of these covers is to provide airflow and keep your butt cool, would I be correct in assuming that it renders the heated seat useless? So far, I've stayed away from these solutions since I have too many days on the road where I enjoy the heated...

    I got another New Helmet!

Looks like you've got some rather warm (ok, so it's going to be hot depending on where you are) weather in SoCal. Based on past experience, I'd say get out and ride. Years ago, I purchased a new helmet a few weeks ahead of a 3 week trip. Wore it on my daily commute (20-30 mins each way) for a...

Bad Day at Black Rock - Anyone had any experiences with the Tow part of their Warranty?

I've had one occasion to call BRP for a tow. Fortunately I was still in the metro area so they were able to provide a flatbed tow back to my dealer.

Prepping for the ultimate riding season - have I missed anything?

If you've got time while you're around the Beartooth Hwy, see if you can fit in Chief Joseph Hwy (Hwy 296 between hwys 212 and 120)
