• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I can tell you emphatically that it's not for me. But hey, I don't know your setup. If there is a difference, it's so slight that I cannot notice one. I'm the same height as you. I already had floorboard risers even with my stock seat because I like sitting in the bike like my old cruiser I...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I'll be adding the new, or maybe not so new but new to me, flashing brake light module to my top case at some point today.

Shad SH58X Top Case - has anyone got one on their 2020+RT and added brake lights/turn signals?

I ended up ordering the Givi V58, the mounting hardware for it, and lights from admorelighting. The LinQ top I'm purchasing from my local dealer. That same dealer quoted me a price of $2,050 (20% off) but it's still way too expensive and I just can't justify the cost considering I still have...

Or maybe the Indiana Bears. I heard they want a new stadium and are thinking of moving.

Stainless KOTT “Keep Out the Trash" grill covers install requires holes in the panels - anyone used 3M tape or anything else instead?

I have both the Kott, which is what's on my bike, bought back in 2021 and secured with screws, and the Slingmods version for the wife's, which were bought last year and are magnetic. For ease of installation, if they had the magnet type available back when I installed them on mine, I would have...

Shad SH58X Top Case - has anyone got one on their 2020+RT and added brake lights/turn signals?

I was looking at a Givi V58 yesterday. It's a little more expensive than the Shad case but I like the looks a whole lot better. Plus, you can add the lights from the admorelighting site. All I have to do is make sure I order the right mounting kit. I was hoping to not have to order the LinQ...

That screw must be soft metal, because there's no way it should snap off at the head going into plastic. But hey, I've gotten good at improvising, and I made it work. Frankly, I think it's better now.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yesterday I installed my RDL seat. All was going well until I decided to do a 1-more for good measure on tightening the screw that holds the piston on. Well, the freaking screw snapped off at the head. So now what was I going to do? I had to get the screw out, so I cut the plastic part that...

Shad SH58X Top Case - has anyone got one on their 2020+RT and added brake lights/turn signals?

Hey all. Been a while since I've posted. It's been a long winter. Anyhow. The OEM top case for the 2022 RT is way too expensive, so I was looking at the Shad SH58X for the wife's ride. One thing I wish it had was a brake light and turn signals. I think I may have found something that will work...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I haven't done anything yet because it's still too cold, but I'm hoping to soon be able to install my new RDL seat I've had since Dec, and I just purchased from Pierre at canamspyderaccessories, blinker arrows that install inside the front speaker panels. They're a new product and will be a...

My RDL is supposedly in production right now, as of 11/26. Should get it mid December. Can't ride but will definitely install it and check it out.

Add fuel stabilizer to both RT's yesterday, which means they're going into hibernation for the next few months. RDL is going to start my seat next week.

Tooting my own horn here - my Elka II Rear shock install went well!

It does come into play when it comes to an extra layer of cushion, but indeed the shock is what is causing the slamming against the plastic under the seat. I've already started saving to replace both shocks, mine and the wife's, in the spring.
