• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Confusing info in the users guide - am I missing something, or what?

Google found information that said it's one of the buttons on the left handgrip, and added that not all models have Sport mode: I don't have a copy of the 2022 Spyder RT Operators Guide, but the 2023 Spyder RT Operators Guide mentions Sport mode on page 51 in the section titled OPERATING...

12 injured after the Rider of a Spyder loses control in Brooklyn, NY

One of the charges is related to in "improper license", which I believe means she didn't have a license to operator the Spyder. 🤬

10.25” Display, when running Apple CarPlay, no way to see miles to empty or fuel remaining - bug report filed!

When I was trying to get CarPlay to work on my 2024 Spyder I had a bunch of original Apple Lightning cables I tried with the iPhone SE I had at the time. Of all of them, I found two that consistently worked. When I upgraded to an iPhone 16e that has a USB-C connector on the phone I obviously...

10.25” Display, when running Apple CarPlay, no way to see miles to empty or fuel remaining - bug report filed!

What kind of cable are you using to connect your iPhone to your Spyder? It has to be a data cable, and not just a charging cable. A Google search asking about CarPlay problems with iPhone 17s also questioned whether there was an active VPN client on your phone, and whether Bluetooth had been...

Anyone using an Aluma MC210 for Late Model RTL/S2S? Any General comments on this & other Trailer options?

I bought a Stinger CAN-AM Trailer to take my Spyder RT in for service, as my dealer is a "drop it off and we'll call you when we're done" kind of place. Here's a picture of my Spyder loaded on the trailer, although the loading ramp is still down.

Has anyone else had Update issues from their dealer on their 2025 Spyder?

Google found something that I find interesting. https://can-am.brp.com/on-road/us/en/discover/technologies/connected-technologies/brp-go.html In the past, The section near the bottom of the page titled: THE BRP GO! APP CAN BE USED ON WHICH VEHICLE DISPLAYS? It used to say that it didn't...

Has anyone else had Update issues from their dealer on their 2025 Spyder?

Your bike uses Apple CarPlay or BRP GO!, not both.

Can I use a splitter for Multi USB connections?

I added a docking station to my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky that gets power from the accessory power port on the right side of the bike next to the right front wheel. The same dock would work on your Spyder...

New Update to BRP GO! app - April 2024

Perhaps this will help with creating routes... https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/how-to-import-routes-waypoints-on-a-brp-friendly-application.119771/ With my 2024 Spyder RT I use the Google Maps app on my desktop computer to plan routes, since it supports drag and drop changes to a route...

New Update to BRP GO! app - April 2024

Good point, but the same message. Any complaint to CAN-AM will tell you to update to the latest version, Whether that's the BRP GO! app on your phone, or the BRP Connect software on your bike.

New Update to BRP GO! app - April 2024

CAN-AM is not going to provide the level of detail you want. Even if you encounter a problem and report it to them, the only likely response will be something like "we fixed that in version X.X, please have your dealer update your bike".

Any Suggestions for new Riding Footwear?

I bought a pair of branded "motorcycle boots" when I took the MSF 3-Wheel Basic Rider Course. The instructor noticed that I was struggling to walk in them, and showed me his boots. They were a pair of ankle high hiking boots, which he said had a reinforced toe. So I ended up at a sporting goods...
