• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My first thousand miles on the Spyder

I’m transitioning from a ‘18 GL to an ‘18 RTL. The upright riding position on the RTL was messing with my existing lumbar problems. Long story short, I’m wearing a soft back brace for riding and it is exactly what I needed, no issues whatsoever now. BTW, we installed the OEM backrest, it’s too...

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

I hear you Metalman… I had the GL1800 in Sport mode a few times, zero to “Oh Crap” in 4 seconds flat. Not my thing now, just really like the responsiveness of the 1330 triple. Taking a short ride out to our new Hard Rock Casino for lunch this Wednesday, should be a great ride.

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

That could very well be the reason LongIsland, too much user input. Guilty as charged! I’ll stay off the Mode button for a few more rides, then go for ECO again. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

Ok, first off, I appreciate the input! Our group took a somewhat spirited ride last week, when I looked at the display while at speed in 6th, the RTL was in ECO without my touching Mode. But I was able to cancel that by hitting Mode while riding. Based on the advice here, I’m going to ride in...

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

Appreciate the intel that running in Eco is not recommended. I’m mostly trying to determine if there is an issue here that might indicate a larger problem. Next ride I’ll try Gwolf’s tech at 45 MPH. Rusty

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

New 2018 RTL owner with an Eco mode question… not knowing the service history, I left the bike with our local dealer for a safety inspection. Their recommendation was to replace the back tire. We did that. Had the bike out today for the first time after that service, cannot seem to get the bike...

Is the OEM seat big enough to use a Wild Assss Seat Pad? Any alternatives?

Appreciate the Airhawk recommendations, I’m checking out their website. Medium is 14”x14”, small is 11”x11”, undecided on fitment. 2Dogs, appreciate your offer! We do have some excellent motorcycle roads in Cali, do we not!

Is the OEM seat big enough to use a Wild Assss Seat Pad? Any alternatives?

New member here, and new to Can-Am. Coming off of a Goldwing DCT and I've just brought home a 2018 RTL with 12,500 miles. My first order of business was to order an OEM backrest for the non-comfort seat. I'm also interested in adding a Wild Assss seat pad, but the dimensions for the pad look too...
