• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for new Comms - what do you use?

Just purchased new helmets from Daytona Helmets. They have their own branded comm units. Have found them to be very easy to link, and use. Voice is clear. Long battery life. It tells you the % of time left when you turn them on. 100% carbon fibre helmet, easy installation.

What is the 'proper' method to secure a Spyder on or in a trailer for transport?

Do yourself a favour. Get the eye bolts that replace the front shock bolts. Makes the front end much easier to tie down. Lamonster, BAJARON, and Spyderpops sell them. For the rear, I use the tow hitch to tie it down.

Upgrading front shocks; what's the difference between Elka and BajaRon??

Daniel from BAJARON's had a direct hand in developing the JRI shocks. Much easier to adjust.

There have been at least a dozen Slingshots there every year (3) we have been there. What upset me? We were excluded from any rides they set up! Yet, they were welcomed to any Spyder rides!

Open Trailers for towing Spyders - what's the best suspension type? Experience, opinions, or are we just over-thinking this?

I found a company in FL. that makes "Spyder" specific open trailers. Met the owner when I went to look at them. He rides an RT himself. All aluminum tilt trailer, 510 lbs.. Had them add a tool box. Rock solid, have pulled to Deadwood S.D. twice, as well as many other rallies. Torsion axles...
