• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LaMont: without the early days testing of these machines, endless advice both written and personal, the fabrication of accessories, and the tireless work you have done with this forum, I don't believe the Can Am's would have been the hit that they have. Can not thank you enough, and wish...

Buying our first Spyder in the Spring - what should I be looking for?

Go with F3T. You'll be glad she did.

OEM Tire showing cupping - is this something that goes with the brand?

Car tires cup out also. Seems to go with the territory. If you can, get a laser alignment, but even that won't guarantee fronts won't cup, or wear on inside.

Intro... My new ride - an F3-T

You made a good choice. I had a '16 F3T and was dumb enuf to trade it. It was the most comfortable, best riding Spyder I've ever had. Do ride it some before you make any changes.

Any advice on 'better than stock' F3 heated grips?

Gerbing gloves are fantastic but you need a controller to adjust the heat level.

Trading in my Ryker, it's time for an F3-T - what issues should I be looking for/concerned about?

Dan, I had a '16 F3T and loved it... until I went the "car tire" route and it rode much harder. My 2c worth is that if you're a hard rider, then maybe the car tires will be best, but if you are an easy rider, stick with Kenda's.

Kenda tires - I truly don't understand the hateful responses to Kenda tires. I have over 22,000 km on mine and they're only 50% worn.

Sorry, not very clear. It was heavy rain, could often barely see 100ft ahead.

While getting a new rear rotor and pads put on at BajaRon's shop a month ago, it seemed prudent to get a new rear tire fitted, as the General R45 prob only had another 6-8K left on it. I had already gone approx 18-20K. I liked the General a lot, but for no reason other than to try something new...

2024 RTL - The ride is a bit rough

I like a soft ride and run 14-15lb front, 18lb rear. No air in bladder as I ride solo only.

Anyone know if Trunk & Cargo nets are available for 2024 RT's?

The Hopnels work great for inside the saddle bag lids. You have to put some small/short metal screws around the inside lid to hook the net to.

2022 RT Ltd - fan ran the entire ride home & then would not shut off, even when I shut off the Spyder - anyone else? Any ideas?

Have you checked the antifreeze/water level? Similar thing happened to a friend and it was extremely low on water, to point the motor would shut down.
