• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

This is brilliant. I struggle to see the spine as well. Will definitely try this next time.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Way to stick with it. And yeah, it’s a steep learning curve. Now, do you remember what work you actually needed to perform on your RT?

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

One final suggestion - Once you’ve got everything lined up and squared up on BB, use a Sharpie to mark the location on the face of the BB angled plate where it meets the frame of the unit. Next, make another mark or find a spot on the frame that corresponds with the mark on BB. The next time...

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

The front edge of the front box mount will need to be placed at the front edge of the frame arm just as the directions state. Adjust the rear cradle as necessary.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Yep. That’s what I did. Seems counterintuitive to what the instructions say, but it's actually a cleaner method to fit/match up with all the crucial points according to what you’re actually dealing with. But the measurements from the guide are a good place to start.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Can you pull the lift away from the bike and take a closeup photo of the floorboard sockets on the bike frame? Something doesn’t look right from the images you’ve shared.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

That part is maddening. I usually lay on the ground while reaching the top of the lift and crank the socket while I watch where the front and rear mounts will land. My neighbor saw me craning in that position and was compelled to come over to make sure I was okay. It's nice to have such great...

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

For the first few attempts to raise and lower the lift, I opted to do so manually. This gave me better understanding of how the machine would list and/or roll and allowed for me to stop quickly and drop the lift and perform any slight adjustments below. I always raise the machine manually...

I fitted my Baldwin Iron Works Cat Delete Kit. She said what…?

Thanks Troop. I’m still reading the FORWARD of How to Maintain Your Spyder for Complete Dummies. 😆 But once I do some additional research, I’m sure this will begin to make sense to me. Thanks for your insights! Thanks for the info.

I fitted my Baldwin Iron Works Cat Delete Kit. She said what…?

Very succinct! Are local shops performing this mod? Or are there only a few specialty shops across the country that can perform this work?

I fitted my Baldwin Iron Works Cat Delete Kit. She said what…?

I consider myself lucky, indeed. I was certainly not expecting that response and was prepared to grovel a bit. Will an ECU flash make that much of a difference on my ‘22 S2S? Is there much to unlock?

I fitted my Baldwin Iron Works Cat Delete Kit. She said what…?

As my wife was heading out for a women’s retreat last weekend, she unceremoniously inquired about what plans I had while she was gone. I shrugged my shoulders and told her that I had no real plans other than to get some yard work done and maybe work on the Spyder. Off she went, and immediately I...

My 2024 S2S Seat has no strut - did BRP discontinue them?

Does your rear cargo compartment lid stay open by itself? If not, you’d do well to replace that strut as well.

No, but I will make sure she knows Snoking was looking out for her. Thank You!

Any ideas on what this 2022 S2S thumping on the drive side might be, or what & where to troubleshoot?

Good call @JKMSPYDER !!! I think I’ll replace the tension arm while it’s apart. Thanks for your insights. My thoughts exactly. It really was in a good spot. I’ll be a bit nervous for a few short trips but if it holds up I’ll keep adding miles. Thank You! I went to the dealer today to buy...

Any ideas on what this 2022 S2S thumping on the drive side might be, or what & where to troubleshoot?

A small screw was thrown upwards and pierced the belt at an angle between the teeth. I used channel locks to twist the belt to expose the inside of the belt and then pushed the sheared metal head out through the top of the belt. Now I'm concerned about the integrity of the belt. No sir. The...
