• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anybody using an aluminum frame enclosed trailer to tow their Spyder?

Mine Kendon, see above, is the Spyder specific version. It folds up the same as the bike version and the ramps all store underneath. I've had mine about 4 or 5 years and it's held up really well. Price has gone up a bit, they are about $6,000 now, so with taxes and add-ons that comes to about...

Having a blast, but have you noticed these Spyders Take an Effort To Ride?!

Except the Ryker has seemingly a relatively frequent requirement for a CVT belt change as opposed to the Spyder/Canyon's "life of the motor" transmission. If the Spyder had a CVT one would hope it was a steel belt like on a car CVT transmission. I must admit I prefer auto transmissions with 6+...

Your Weather News @ September 2026 Edition

The weather was bright and sunny today, so we donned leather jackets and did the run up to Brighton Ski Resort again, this time in the dry. Walked around Silver Lake. It was surprisingly warm. The temperature started climbing. By the time we got back down to the valley, it was nearly 90°F on...

Your Weather News @ September 2026 Edition

Rained all day. Cold and wet. Put the waterproofs on and rode up Big Cottonwood Canyon to Brighton Ski Resort at 9000+ feet. It was in the high thirties up there. I thought it might snow so I didn't linger too long and rode back down. Got home and it stopped raining. Oh well.

Just had my Spyder buffed and polished!

I suspect it might not work with my 2026 S2S and it's semi-matt white finish. I'll have to look into it and see. Yours looks really nice BTW.

300 miles in temps over 105 with low humidity ... dangerous

Sorry for the warming atmosphere distraction. My brain wanders off into the ozone sometimes. The older I get the more distracted I get. According to the CDC/NIOSH approaching 1.4 liters per hour of water can put an average size man at risk of Hyponatremia (Sodium dilution in the bloodstream) in...

Are the OEM XPS front tires really directional, on '25 S2S?

That's what I thought. But then again, this is the response I got... That's probably why the user manual isn't correct for 2026 models.

Are the OEM XPS front tires really directional, on '25 S2S?

So I wanted to get a definitive answer to this question, so I asked Can Am/BRP via the form on their website. I'm convinced they are not directional, but... Even Can Am themselves are unsure and they mount the things at the factory. However, unfortunately, this was the response I got...

Anyone made Jump Start Terminals for an F3T? Where & how do you mount terminals?

Their Amazon page for the GBC007 unit states: The GBC007 Boost X-Connect Adapter allows you to easily swap between NOCO Boost and Boost X UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starters and NOCO Genius Smart Battery Chargers. It features an 18.5-inch eyelet terminal accessory with M6 hole size, and 8AWG...

Brake pedal is firm on starting, soft after moving - dealer says it's OK! Anyone else?

Thinking of it, if they replaced the VCM I'm sure they must have put new fluid into it. Perhaps the only thing left is the ABS hydraulic modulator unit itself which is what actually controls the brake pressure in the lines, under control from the VCM? The BUDS testing should have exercised...

Brake pedal is firm on starting, soft after moving - dealer says it's OK! Anyone else?

Bled, but was it a full flush through to clear? That was the mistake I made with the Jag. I bled the air at the calipers and exercised the ABS pump but it still had tired fluid in the lines. It didn't take much to feel weird like the OP described.

How to gear up to ride comfortably and safely in really hot weather?

We use these, from Amazon: Alphacool Frosty Body Cooling Ice Vest Neck CoolingTube, Reusable Ice Cooler Wearable Body CoolingProducts, Neck Coolers for Hot Weather We store the reserve blocks in a small lunch bag cooler in the trunk so we can replace them about halfway through the ride.

Brake pedal is firm on starting, soft after moving - dealer says it's OK! Anyone else?

How old is the brake fluid? Did you bleed some out and measure the moisture content? Perhaps it needs a complete fluid flush from master cylinder to front and rear calipers? I had a Jaguar XF that did the same. The fluid looked OK in the master cylinder, but the fluid deep in the lines was too...

300 miles in temps over 105 with low humidity ... dangerous

I got it from playing around with 12 month average temperatures going back to 1895 with the NOAA calculator and plotting the data. You can set US wide and whether you are looking at a particular month or a prior 12 month period. It will plot the data for you. Other agencies all over the globe...

300 miles in temps over 105 with low humidity ... dangerous

The average for the US as a whole for 12 months (Sept - Aug) was over 2F. For the period 1895 to 2026 (the period with the most reliable data) for the same period this was over 4F. For Utah specifically for the same 1895 to 2026 Sept - Aug period it was 6.3F. The overall trend is higher...

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

It did that to me with the bike on the Battery Tender. I even checked the battery voltage before I started and everything was fine. So, I turned the bike off, took the key out and away from the bike and left it for a couple of hours while I went and got my COVID and Flu shots. Came back...

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

If you don't use the USB A port for data, or perhaps Bluetooth connections, you might be OK. The problem with the display going dark might be extremely dangerous, so at some time you might have to bite the bullet, put the wooden hammer away, and take it to the dealer.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

You would indeed expect that and if you were suspecting some cached file in that part of the system was fooling the bike into thinking the update had already been done, or similar. I suspect that reset is just resetting the user interface settings for which display settings you have. Bummer. I...

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

Well yes, the intercity freeway routes anywhere out of Salt Lake are dry, hot, and mostly desert or scrub like. That's going North through Idaho (I-15) to OR or WA, South to Vegas and LA (I-15), East to Reno (I-80), or West to Denver (I-80). You can go West from Central Utah by going South from...
