• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the General Altimax RT45 a good Replacing rear tire for a 2017 Spyder RT Ltd?

I think this is excellent, timeless advice that you and @Peter Aawen have said so many times and in so many ways, but can't be said enough because new members are joining up all the time.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

@Peter Aawen makes complete sense. So, the bit on the left gets flipped upside down and bolted to the bit on the right with four bolts, to provide a flat surface for the front of the Spyder frame to rest on? @Flier Tuck if you could provide a reference or pics, that would be a great help...

Modifying these Tire inflators and different air chucks to see what works best for me...

I'm getting the swivel one to see if I like that.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Okay, @Peter Aawen I'm inclined to agree with you that the piece in question is designed to be flipped up somehow after getting BB under the Spyder so that it, together with the rear bracket under the bike's rear shock, contribute to overall stability. The instructions that come with the lift...

Need help with these Fobo 2 Issues - Valve Stems and BRP Connect

So NOW you tell me! Actually I had decided to get the FOBO, Peter, based on some great advice from you on a different thread. (Geez, I get criticized for not searching for and reading what has already been said on this forum about a topic I'm interested in. Then, I'm over-analyzing and...

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Oh, so that mess in the garage is somebody else's fault? Ha! I'll take some more pics and post them. Tomorrow. After I clean out the mess my neighbor's distant relatives left behind after camping out for a week because he didn't want them crashing at his place when they dropped in unexpectedly...

Need help with these Fobo 2 Issues - Valve Stems and BRP Connect

I realize this is an old thread, but it's the first time I've come across this issue of the FOBO chrome stems being too short for the OEM Spyder wheels. I'm concerned because I will be traveling almost 500 miles to have Joe Meyer do some work on my bike, including replacing the rear tire and...

Modifying these Tire inflators and different air chucks to see what works best for me...

I've got a couple of 18v battery powered inflators by Ryobi. These are the latest models that allow you to preset the desired inflation pressure, turn it on, then when it reaches that pressure, it will turn itself off. It comes with a standard 1/4" air hose which is affixed to the inflator at...

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

It is, but why a hinged plate? I'm just wondering if it has that built-in adjustability for a reason. (Update; it seemed to be hinged but it's not)

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

Does anyone with a Big Blue know what this hinged plate at the front of the lift arm is for?

I fitted my Baldwin Iron Works Cat Delete Kit. She said what…?

I think the sway bar is now more important than ever, before you inevitably do the 2nd stage ECU flash to go with that sound!

I've got a bent front wheel - any idea where to buy a new one?

That's the combo I will soon have at my next rear tire change. Do they take a lower tire pressure than the older Kendas (28psi, I think)?

Very nice. And great pics. Is that Roosevelt Lake?

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

I washed it of 3 years of sitting in the garage dust. Then, took it for a quick spin, running through all the gears to make sure I had not screwed up the shifter when I lifted it with the ATV-style lift last week. It fired right up, ran great and surprised a few neighbors who didn't realize...

Lifting the rear of RT swing arms with a modified HF MC lift - Wanted to share and get feedback.

Okay, I've got some scrap aluminum channel bolted to the lift which cradles the swing arms and extends the reach about 3”. It ain't pretty but it works and it didn't cost me anything other than time, which I like a lot! - -

USERNAMES/HANDLES - What does yours mean? Where did it come from?

Mine's pretty self-explanatory, I think. I'm in Utah, where I bought my Spyder and have resigned myself to living forever now. And, I go by Pete.
