• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Getting a Vibration through the seat - anyone offer a seat cushion to offset? Any tips/hints?

AirHawk Pad and/or Sheepskin. I use them together on my RTL and am comfortable in all conditions. FYI that gel pads have a tendency to retain heat, so if you're in a hot area, it may become a bit uncomfortable if used without a sheepskin or some other cover.

How many miles do you have on your Spyder?

Right at 10k miles. Purchased 6/19/25. 8 months actual riding time. New/Leftover 2023 RTL. My first Spyder after 55 years on 2 wheels. I love this thing!

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

Just had my 10K check up this week. Was referred to an Independent shop that is owned by a Can-Am Certified Tech, with another CT on staff: VC Cycle in Indianola, Iowa. Oil/filter change (they stock the factory BRP synthetic oil/filter kit), an in-depth inspection of the bike including belt...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Das, How do the EBC Pads/Rotors look after 11K? How much pad life left, and are the pads chewing up the rotors? How are they on brake dust. I need new pads (9,900 miles) and am waffling between just doing OEM pads or upgrading to the EBC kit. Thanks in advance! DOR55

Anyone using an Aluma MC210 for Late Model RTL/S2S? Any General comments on this & other Trailer options?

Have noticed some positive comments on the Aluma MC210. Anyone using one for a late model RTL/STS? What's the Good/Bad/Ugly? I've narrowed my trailer search down to the Aluma, H&H 78x12 Aluminum Low Side Utility, and a Formula Traverse 7x12 Enclosed V-Nose. - H&H is a bit "Heavier-Dutier"...

Snoking, Am about ready to pull the trigger on a similar setup. Am curious as to how the Spyder-loaded trailer setup affects gas mileage on your pickup at Interstate speeds (ie: with and without trailer). Thanks in advance! DOR55

Any Modification recommendations from those who tour on their Spyders?

If you are a solo rider, you might want to consider changing the passenger backrest pad to the Sling Mods pad that eliminates the "side wings" on the stock pad. Frees up space to utilize a large seat bag. I use a 60 litre Moose Racing Dry Bag. Affordable and provides a ton of useful additional...

Have you seen the Outrageous cost of Spyder accessories!?!

I rode BMW's and Ducati's for 55 years before moving over to a new/leftover 23 RTL last year. Was astounded at how inexpensive RTL accessories are...
