• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How long does the Factory Belt Tensioner last by miles?

I always wondered why Can-Am/BRP doesn't list these as a maintenance replaceable item on models equipped with them? They are not designed to last forever.

Does this Belt Tensioner Idler Stabilizer Roller look familiar?

No doubt a Chinese knockoff. I have the Lamonster on mine.

No shame in knock offs :(...

Cat delete, is it worth the money

I have both a RLS cat delete and a Two Bro's CF Black slip on muffler. My favorite two combos are: 1.) RLS delete (no baffle) + OEM muffler 2.) OEM cat + Two Bro's muffler Both offer decent back pressure and distinctive tone differences. For those with warranty concerns about removing the OEM...

Just sold my Harley and have follow up questions - what spec RT; Base, Ltd, Sea to Sky? Used, or new?

I have a 2022 RT S2S with the comfort seat. I also bought a heated take off seat and sent it off to Russell Day long for conversion. For long days in the saddle (250+ miles), the RDL is wonderful. That said, on both seats I still use an Alaska Leather sheepskin topper. Slight cushion and both...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Just flashed my PV4 equipped ECU with a new map provided by Lucas at Fuel Moto. Basically did some data log rides, and he sent me a basic map with zero changes to TBW/ignition timing/top speed, but changed the fan temp setting and adjusted my AFR's across the entire board. Gonna try this map...

Thinking of switching to a Spyder, any others jumped from their Harley's to Spyders? Any advice welcome...

When I bought my F3S in 2019, I also owned a H-D EG. For two years, I switched back/forth but found myself riding the Spyder more. I sold my H-D to a buddy in 2021. Still healthy but enjoyed the Spyder more...

Has anyone tried this Cat-back muffler?

Here in the USA, the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act gives owners some protections. The MFR basically has to prove any issues were caused by changes the owners made. Like stated above, any motor issues may be a hassle. Any issues like electrical, etc. will have no bearing on cat delete. As also...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Tightened up a loose muffler clamp holding the OEM muffler/RLS cat delete. It "was" tight initially, but I must not have had it seated correctly.

You made a good choice :)

Has anyone tried this Cat-back muffler?

Then simply ditch your cat. I have used both Baldwin Iron Works and RLS cat deletes. Both are excellent quality, but are distinctly different. The design of the RLS does produce a slightly deeper tone and a bit more back pressure. The Baldwin is quite a bit cheaper. IF you plan on using your OEM...

Has anyone tried this Cat-back muffler?

I'd do just the opposite and go with a cat delete pipe and OEM muffler. Really liking my RLS delete (no baffle) and OEM muffler. Although pricier than a Baldwin cat delete, the tone of the RLS is a bit deeper.

PPA wheel owners - are you satisfied with them? Their finish and quality?

Being the OP who started this thread almost six years ago, I can happily report that the PPA's are holding up quite nicely :)

How difficult is it to replace the Windshield on a 2022 RT?

Simple task. Just don't over tighten the (4) windscreen screws. Also, I stuff small towels behind/under the windshield in case I drop a screw :)

Is there supposed to be a lift support for the drivers seat?

The Show Chrome piece will work fine for the OEM seat, but it didn't cut it when I put on a Russell Day Long Seat. This is the one to get. Two push pin install .. https://spyderextras.com/shop/details/315/SPYDER-EXTRAS-2020-RT-DRIVER-SEAT-LIFT-KIT-SRT-SLK

Blackstone Results for Amsoil 5W40 Metric Oil in my 2022 RT S2S

Yeah ... Still under the BRP B.E.S.T. warranty. That said, the 5900 miles was done in a 11 month period, so I will continue to change it within a calendar year. Regarding the silicon, I'm going to go with the freshly cleaned filter theory. I do know that K&N's do filter out the smaller particles...
