• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Don't forget about Russell Day Long or Seth Laam seats. I've had both, and both are great seats. I tried an Ultimate seat, but it had terrible fitment. I was quickly refunded though. -

    You were buying a S2S for the seat only?? I have a 2022 S2S, and the OEM seat is Ok. I bought a heated take off seat on ebay for $125 and sent it off to Russell Day Long. Now that's a seat!! I'm kinda partial to the Mystery Blue :) -

    Yes .. But I believe you can also order a heated option for the passenger backrest. It is also lower profile.

    Fuel prices just went up again yesterday in my area. 87/10% ethanol is $3.99/ga. 91/ethanol free is now $5.19/gallon. I just went to the garage and flashed in a modified stock tune (Power Vision 4) to allow the option of using regular gas. I'll likely just flip/flop between 87/91for the time...

    My 32 month old Drag Specialties (Yuasa) battery just crapped the bed. Just said heck with it and picked up a Walmart (Everstart) one for $110.     Had my second set of Accelera Iota 165/55R15 tires installed on my OEM rims. Now up to date with new tires on my OEM/PPA wheels :) Still a great deal here. $12/pair less than I paid for them last November...

    Direct from the 2025 owners manual: Spark plugs Replace Every 5 years or 45 000 km(28,000 mi). No earlier inspection is listed. If a dealer is tearing the byke down to inspect spark plugs at 9k miles, they're ripping off customers :( As noted, spark plugs are lasting a long time.

    That's fine, but the OP specifically asked about the mounting of the XT(2) with a Touratech locking mount. I did also tell him that it fits using another type lock. Ps: I also use that Lamonster mount, but it works much nicer with this RAM ball plate...
