• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Kenda tires - I truly don't understand the hateful responses to Kenda tires. I have over 22,000 km on mine and they're only 50% worn.

    Depending on the state, the rock in the asphalt makes a big difference on the wear of all tires. Some states use the “softer” limestone and NC uses the hard granite that really cuts up tires.

    I HATE Vapor recovery (ECO) gasoline pump nozzles! Is this just "my issue" only? Anyone else? What do you do to avoid this?

    I like the Costco gas as well but not the pump set up. To fill the Spyder tank, I barely put the nozzle in and hold the other part up so that it will pump.     I live in Greensboro, NC. It got to 80° F this afternoon and made it perfect for riding. I did not go anywhere in particular, just went South by the NC Zoo and kept going. Went through several small towns and circled back to Asheboro, where I stopped for supper. I then came back home.

    The Garmin Zumo is your best choice. If you are short on funds, using your phone with the Waze app is the next very good route. You have the choice in the setup to avoid interstates and toll roads and a few other options.
