• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Big Thanks to Chaynes68 - SE5 Risers Installed

I referenced that in my 1st paragraph - "...that I think may have already been address on other threads". OOppps ...should have been "addressed" but the main intent was to give Chaynes68 a personal , big :2thumbs: for the photos, drawings and all the help that he ( or she ) provided. Knowing...

Big Thanks to Chaynes68 - SE5 Risers Installed

Chaynes68 ... thanks for all your photos , drawings etc. I just completed the 4" riser install on my SE5. You're right about getting to those 2 tie wraps in front - they were challenging. After I cut those 2 , I had plenty of slack. As far as the risers themselves are concerned. There were only...

I have the Billet highway bracket and it works OK but still seems to be a little wide for me .... just not really comfortable .... functional yes. i think that I would like something that allows more of a 90 degree calf to thigh angle and still be as close in as possible - Obviously not getting...

    Risers and spacers......

Mr.Magic Since it may take a while for ya'll to design and manufacture the new left side ones, can I keep and temporarily put on the one I've got ( even though it's gonna look funny ) until the new ones are ready then swap it out for the redesigned correct one ?

    Risers and spacers......

SE5 Mr.Magic So on the SE5 , if you relocate everything from the original bar to the new bar - grips , control unit, spacer - the new total handlebar width - end to end of the handlebar will be 7/8" x 2 or 1 3/4" more than the original handlebar width when you finish due to the width of the...

    SE5 - 4" Risers

One Other Thing If everything fits but it's 1/2" wider on both sides - that's fine with me - Even if only one side is 1/2" longer I'd probably never even notice it if I didn't already know.

    SE5 - 4" Risers

Hi Captain ! I'm the one that started this thread - So bear with me. If you take everything including the designated spacer from original location below and move them to the new bar stock above - Will the control unit / paddle shifter / wire still hit the riser ? In the photos above - if they...

    SE5 - 4" Risers

To Magic Man Mr. Magic - With the SE5 having the spacers - does that affect where ya'll drilled the holes in the new bars to line up with the control unit pins or whatever they are called. I got my risers from youa few days ago and plan on putting them on this Sat. ...... I agree with you...

    SE5 - 4" Risers

Aren't the factory 1" risers installed below the handlebars and not extended from the existing handlebars up ? My dealer was telling me what a pain it was to remove the entire handlebar assembly and install the 1" extension on the steering column / shaft or whatever below the handlebars.
