• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3 trailer hitch

The 2015 owners manual says no trailer. Do you have the stock shocks? If so, consider upgrading first. I am 275lbs with riding gear. With nothing additional on the rear except a passenger backrest. I was entering a Wendy's today (not fast at all) and felt a slight bump in the rear when the shock...

Custom F3 Blue Ridge Modeled Windsheild

I have updated the post with some more clarity (at least trying to be clearer). The stock shield is listed as 13" High. At what reference point he measured, I don't know and is not important. The only thing you need to determine is the height that you want by using your stock shield. Do this...

From the bottom of the tape measure to the bottom of the stock screen has not changed. The measurement across the back side of the screen from where you see the tape to the other side is 23 1/2". The stock BR is 19". From this point up it is the same contour, just wider. From the point that...

Yes. Once he has a customer come to the shop and he makes a pattern that fits the mounting brackets, he can make a screen to fit any motorcycle. I just checked his website. He doesn't have these posted with a price yet. He thought he may have it today. Might be tonight. I think son updates the...

    Hand Brake for F3s

I have a SE6-S. I have some medical problems with my feet and legs. Using a combination pegs and footboards setup that I am using now has lowered the brake pedal, I would prefer to not deal with a foot brake at all. Brake on the left side of the handlebars would be ideal (left hand to operate...

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

Some things I have failed to mention. I did not have the bolts and nuts to attach the pegs. Made a trip to ACE Hardware with one of the pegs. The way the clamps are molded, both the bolt head and the nut are recessed when tightened. Tried a standard head bolt first. To me it was questionable...

    F3 Brake Lever Height SE6 SM6

Sent an email yesterday to Smoothspyder and Baker. Smooth replied that he can see a potential market for a lower pedal. But right now he has is hands full getting the tensioner out. Maybe later he could get to it. Have not seen a response yet from Baker. Will update when I hear from him. From...

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

What I have is the Can-Am carbon driver footboards. I can only speak to using these boards. My answer to using position 1 is yes. I base that on that I measured the distance between the holes of position 3 and position 4, which is 2". Then called the dealership parts guy. He had positions 5 and...

    Shifting Into Neutral on SE6

At 6'1" I have always had better luck with trucks. One of the reasons I am holding onto my 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac.

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

I was so happy with the pain relief I haven’t taken the time until now to analyze how things changed. Riding with the footboards (also with the pegs before the footboards) in position 5 my thighs were at a downward angle which caused my upper inner thighs to pinch in on the front of the seat and...

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

Went on another 40 mile ride to test different foot positions. All is good with the world. Well, almost. I just ordered a foam/gel seat pad from Motorcycledave (a Spyderlovers Supporting Vendor).

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

You might want to consider installing the footboards with the pegs first. If you find that peg/footboard is the way you want to go you don't have to deal with peg removal and disconnecting/reconnecting the brake pedal. If you then decide that you want to try just the footboards, you will already...

Stock Seat Upgrade....Conformax or Memory Foam?

I intend to upgrade my seat. I am thinking Conformax, but a friend is recommending memory foam. I would appreciate input on this.

    Using Combination Pegs and Footboards

I was using footboards in position 5 and experiencing pressure on my upper inside thighs from the seat (still stock) along with lower back strain. I was ready to get a position 4 brake linkage when I remembered that I had the stock pegs. Put the pegs are in position 5 and the footboards in...
