• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Starting my Toy Hauler Research - considering replacements for our travel trailer?

You may find difficulty getting a toy hauler/camper large enough to accommodate both a spyder & a 2 wheeler. Good Luck  Bill

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

A great deal of engines I've worked on over the years had water thermostats that opened at 180 degrees. If the engine is at operating temp, your oil is plenty warm enough for changing. "old school theory" Bill

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

If it gets up to 180 degrees F, then you're good! You can change it without starting it! :ohyea: :roflblack: :roflblack: :2thumbs: MHO Bill

Rear Parking Brake Not Releasing on 2019 F3-S - is this the correct TSB?

I didn't realize that Connecticut was that flat! Someday when you come back to get on your trike, it is NOT going to be exactly where you parked it. Guess the manual shift leaving it in gear works better than I anticipated! MHO  Bill

Paint issues on 2023 RT - poor paint/clear coat quality or just normal? Anyone else?

Very soft paint with-out any clear coat as far as I believe. I've seen better quality finish on a metal scoop shovel! If I ever buy another Spyder, it will go to a body shop for top clear coats before it hits the roads. MHO  Bill

My solution to the Bajaron Ultra sway-bar 'clunk'!

For what its worth! I have the Ultra bar. I never tried the original Baja Ron bar. I weigh in at about 205 lbs., my better half is at around 185. 95% of our riding is 2-up. "I would NOT sell the Ultra bar back at 3 times the price I bought it for!" Bill

Will a 2023 F3 fit on an open 6x12 UHaul Trailer with ramp?

If the trailer has a 6'x12' bed, then your spyder will fit. If the ramp is also 6' wide, watch out for loading problems if the incline is too steep. Good Luck, Bill.

We all feel sorry for the people that did not get what they paid for; BUT, complaining to the rest of us here on Spyder Lovers Forum is not helping your case. Those of you who have an ample complaint need to take it up with your dealer and BRP, Not Here! MHO. Bill

After better performing, longer lasting, Rear tire suggestions?

I run the Altimax 45 in 215/60R15, it's a few pubic hairs narrower than stock, but not as likely to wear-out the center. I have 6K on it now & it's wearing even across the face with 7/32" tread left. I really like this tire! :ohyea: We found a winner! Bill
