• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

And the Triglide stability systems has caused a few to run off the road.

I call HD trikes pickup trucks, as they ride like an old one.

The Spyder is certainly not a Honda - but the reliability sure would be nice! Still not switching tho!!

When I was buying my 4th Honda car in 2001 the dealer backroom paper work was trying to sell me a warranty. I said what does the big sign on your building say, he hemmed and hawed, I repeated what does the sign say, he finally said, LYNNWOOD HONDA. And I said "it's a HONDA I am buying. That...

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

Me thinks someone is maybe over thinking this whole rear tire issue. The way Kenda rear tires ballon in the center at speed, running something that is a little higher profile and that retains it's shape at speed is more or less a wash.

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

I have been run the General Altimax RT45 and RT43 that size and like to play in the twisties. They handle great along with Vredestien Quatrac up front.

First time ride on my Spyder today - I think I'm gonna like it!

Out on the open road, I run cruise control most of the time and use the increase or decrease button when changing speed zones. I just relax my hands on the handle bars, except for when the German Shepherd came out of the brush of the median on I-10 entering California right in front of me. I...

My 2012 Spyder RT turns over once then resets

Disconnect the Spyders bacttery cables and carefully connect the jumper cables to the Spyder's cables so they can not short together or to the Spyder's frame, then connect the positive cable the the positive on the car battery, and the ground the other cable (negative) to a ground point of the...

Complete BUDS3 V800 kit now available from PowerSports Diagnostics

Just FYI: When a dealer finally got the display firmware up dated last fall on the Asphalt Grey 2018 one that I bought in January 2024, it took BUDS2 and the BUDS2 like USB cable to finally do it and show miles to empty on the left center for the display. Nash in Mesa tried a couple times and...

Trailering the Spyder - could use some tips on fastening it down?

That trailer deck looks like it is sits pretty low and the ramps are long, so you should have no issues loading it. There are two things to be concerned about on higher trailers with shorter ramps, the first is the nose hitting before the front wheels start raising it up, and second is the shift...

Trailering the Spyder - could use some tips on fastening it down?

Reversed the lower shock bolt and installed these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P15BHSR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title I believe Lamonster sells them also.

I've got a bent front wheel - any idea where to buy a new one?

Running wide in understeer according to what I read and understand. My first Spyder would hook tighter in corners(oversteer) than what was needed, and it happen quickly causing a bit of puckering in my behind. Better tires and HD sway bar solved it completely.

Trailering the Spyder - could use some tips on fastening it down?

This is how I tied down my first Spyder before going to a full e-track set up. You want to be sure to really secure the rear incase "stuff" happens, as you do not want in the tow vehicle with you. -

I've got a bent front wheel - any idea where to buy a new one?

I would not be riding if mine handle that way, when I got the first Champaign 2018 in fall of 2020 it over steered badly in the twisties, which started the march to improving the handling. Tires sway bar etc.
