• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are all F3 Front Shocks the same length from 2015 to 2021?

They are exactly the same part number, both the shock and spring, so I think that will tell you something, anyway. Sorry I can't give you any measurements, though.

2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

Yeah, you've got an excellent support system there with Hanover. And it seems like the dealership where you are now is competent enough. Otherwise, they would have just slapped a new sprocket on there and sent you on your way. The 2018, of course, was part of that recall population. Those...

Alternator Shaft Squeal - not a Recall, not a Warranty Campaign, just a TST!

Thought I would start a new thread rather than bury this. Below is the link to the TST regarding the alternator shaft squeal issue. Disappointingly, it’s not what we would have wanted. It is not a Recall, nor is it a Warranty Campaign. It is a Technical Service Tip. It simply notifies the...

    FS: 2012 RT-622 Trailer

Selling our RT-622 Trailer, located in Northeast Ohio. We’ve reached that stage in life and health that we aren’t going to be using this anymore. Actually, haven’t used it in a couple of years. It’s a 2012 Lava Bronze. It has the 2013 tongue harness with the BRP standard 4-pin square connector...

2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

Pretty much all you can do is look for the red dust. If you try to re-torque the bolt, you will break the bonds of the thread locker. I can’t recall cases of red dust still happening with the new sprockets. This looked more like a case of sudden, catastrophic failure. They get serviced at...

2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

Hey Purple. I’m sure that the old, defective sprockets have been thoroughly purged from the system. Besides, they were a completely different color - black. Pretty obvious if one got loose at the factory. Under the circumstances, I believe that the BRP Mothership will want the dealer to send...

2023 F3L SES Front Sprocket BUSTED! Has anyone else with a "newer" Spyder had a sprocket issue?

Since the recall period, I can't remember a single case that has been reported on here, of a catastrophic sprocket failure on a new machine... until now. So, I'm feeling that this is one of those manufacturing or assembly defects that just come along once in a while. Not a fleet problem. The...

Looking at installing F3 handlebars on an RT - can I use F3 handlebars pre 2024?

I spent a couple of minutes looking at parts diagrams and part numbers and I'm not quite sure what your dealer was saying or why you think F3 handlebars would be better? In 2023, both the RT and F3 handlebars are 3-piece. In 2024, both of them are 1-piece. I didn't understand the dealer's logic...

Looking for a 2008 GS Master Key - any ideas?

No. Not saying that. BUDS is not used for key programming prior to 2014. You buy that key that I linked to up above. It has a blank chip in it. You go to your locksmith and get that key cut to match your BRP key that already works. Then you have your locksmith CLONE the blank chip in that key...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

Not the fuse, the relay. The relay starts and stops the compressor. It doesn’t feed anything else. It’s the same as unplugging the compressor, just easier to get to. You may or may not get a suspension warning light. But, that’s just a light. No control functions. And realistically, surprised...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

If you want to Slime the airbag, that’s fine. But, just get in there so that you are adding directly to the bag and not to the Schrader valve. If it is the bag, the leak is most likely around the base of it where all the little stones congregate and wear a hole. Just know that there are other...

2014 RT with intermittent buzzing noise - any ideas on what it might be?

No, you can't turn it off at the dashboard. Don't know where they got that. You can tun it off in BUDS. Without BUDS, go into your left side fuse box - left side as you are sitting on the bike - and pull Relay R4 - suspension relay. See Pic. Easier to get to than the air pump plug. To...

What do these fault codes mean? V0416; C006C; C003A

It's like we said before in your earlier thread on this Russell. One to which you never gave an update on. (Help us to help you!) First off, it's U0416, and not V0416. And it's a general code for "Vehicle Speed Not Plausible". So, it's still relating to your speed sensors. Do you still have the...

Doing a DESS disable with a wire on a 2010 RTS SE5 - is the antenna no longer needed?

Yeah, one of your fellow country-men posted a video in both English and French on this about 4 years ago. I assume that's the one you are speaking of. Never did it myself, but even your written write up says that the DESS antennae is not used. So, don't use it. I don't believe that anything...

Changed the oil, now stuck in Limp Mode, Code P0524! What's wrong??

So, P0524 is, in fact, Low Oil Pressure. But the thing is, that the V-Ttwin has only one oil pressure switch. And it is literally a switch. It's either open or closed. Thus, it is contradictory that the Low Oil Pressure warning light would go out, and yet you would have a Low Oil Pressure Code...

Will the BRP Vacuum clutch assist help with the hard pull clutch on a 2008 V-Twin?

I assume that you have compared clutch force between engine running and engine not running, and finding no difference? And BTW, the 998 will use more oil than what you would normally expect. That's normal for that engine. But, if the clutch pneumatic diaphragm is damaged, it will REALLY use a...

Will the BRP Vacuum clutch assist help with the hard pull clutch on a 2008 V-Twin?

The 2008 came with vacuum assist - more specifically, pneumatic assist. See below, right from the 2008 shop manual. Start taking panels off. Would suggest that you check for proper solenoid and switch operation. Make sure that no vacuum lines have been plugged off. Clutch hydraulic service, etc...

What do these fault codes mean? V0416; C006C; C003A

AFTER you find and repair the problem that caused the codes in the first place, start up and ride off. These codes will reset on their own.
