• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Issues with Kenda Tires or Not?

I voted that I didn't have any problems with the original Kendas. I got 10,000 miles or so out of the original rear tire and when I replaced it I replaced the front tires at the same time. Put on Vredestein Quatracs all around. What I noticed with the new tires was better performance - better...

To do….or not to do? Should I replace these BEFORE they fail?

Wait until it fails. Have the bike towed to dealer then trade it in for a new one.

Suggest any battery warming gloves thin enough to wear under thick gloves?

I have the WarmNSafe 12V bike powered glove liners but I got my daughter the battery powered ones for skiing and she says they work great. https://www.warmnsafe.com/collections/7-4v-heat-layer-products/products/heated-glove-liners

Pedal Commander video on Banks power

Yeah I think it's been pretty clearly documented that the Pedal Commander or Pedal Box only increases throttle response, not any true horsepower improvement at all. That being said the increased throttle response is a great pleasure to have. It makes the Spyder more fun to drive.

2023 Spyder F3s - Any value in Pairing Helmet and iPhone to Bike?

At best you can get volume control and maybe skip/pause music tracks when paired to the bike. But I can do that easily directly on my Sena headset or even through my Garmin Zumo if I want. So I no longer pair with the bike.

A visit from a member here from Conn. tomorrow

If the food was bad, I would be polite and say "oh it was great, but I'm so full, no room for seconds". Mike's dinner was in fact very good and yes I had seconds!

    American Buffalo

Came across that the other night, didn't have time to watch it so I set it to record the series. Glad to hear it's pretty good. I've liked Ken Burns' work so far. I remember learning about the buffalo jump hunting method back in US History in high school. Back in the 70's lol...

I'll start off my write-up first with many thanks to Mike for offering to host me. It was very generous of him and greatly appreciated! As a bit of background I like to do an occasional single day mega solo ride to get to the scenic or fun areas not normally reachable with a group. It's...

2018 F3T will not downshift automatically - any ideas?

I had that exact problem. Posted about it last year. The clutch basket central nut came loose over time. Dealer took it apart and fixed it in one day. It's been perfect ever since. https://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?150902-1330-SE6-Clutch-engagement-at-idle-problem
