• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was that at IHC or the University?

Modifying these Tire inflators and different air chucks to see what works best for me...

I bought this one off Amazon. I measured it's settings against a calibrated pressure gauge and it turns out accurate at 20 PSI for the front and half a PSI high at 28 PSI. It was $60 in the orange color. AVID POWER Portable Tire Inflator Air Compressor, 110V AC/12V DC Air Pump

Your Weather News @ October 2026 Edition

Poured down with rain these last two days in Utah. Got out for a ride yesterday morning before the weather turned nasty. Today it was a complete washout so we stayed home. Temperatures in the mid 50's. Utah weather is totally predictable weeks in advance, until it suddenly decides it isn't.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

If you are having screen blackout problems then I would take it to the dealer to get updated if you cannot do it yourself. It's a NHTSA recall because it's a safety issue. It takes about 15 minutes to do, and the dealer doesn't have to touch any other part of your bike if you don't want them to.

I've got a bent front wheel - any idea where to buy a new one?

My XPS branded Kendas I run at 20 psi front, 28 psi rear. I ran the original Kendas at 18 psi front and 28 psi rear. The more I run these XPS branded Kendas, in torrential rain and blistering heat, the better they are, in my opinion, than the originals. I still think they are good enough to...

Dealer has offered me a deal to upgrade - To buy or not??

Losing £3,000 on a unit that's about four years old is a pretty good trade in deal. You paid £29,000 back then and it's going to cost you £33,000 for a 2026 model today, I'd say the dealer is making a fair deal at UK prices with UK sales tax rates. I traded my 2021 RT LTD earlier this year for...

    Random thought for the day

I wondered how long it would be before Peter chimed in... I didn't think he'd quite see the funny side of that one.:)

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

I wish they'd open a Waffle House out here in the Mountain West.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

On mine, it was greyed out the installation after downloading. It is always on the tender. However, I turned the ignition off, took the key out and off some distance, ran some errands for a couple of hours, then came back and completed. I didn’t start the engine.

2015 RT - What Anti freeze besides BRP's brand is safe to use?

And don’t rely on the colors to assume that the two coolants are of the same type. The same colors usually mean the same type, but not always. Best to read the specification in the handbook and then match coolants specifically by equivalent type unless you are draining and flushing completely.

Can anyone with a Big Blue Lift provide advice on my lifting issues?

If you download the instructions from the website for your 2024 S2S, the instructions are seemingly written for the prior to 2020 machines. However, if you scroll to the last page of the PDF, it has the reference to the picture showing how the later model bikes such as yours secure the lift to...

Cannot get firmware to update using BUDS3 - any help or suggestions appreciated?!

For testing USB cables to find out what they are and what they'll do I suggest the following cable tester. I got it on Amazon for like $15: Treedix USB Cable Tester Board for USB-C, Lightning, Micro USB and Type A/B https://www.amazon.com/stores/Treedix/page/B8EF2AE1-0088-4BE1-973C-C8E83A36A748

Cannot get firmware to update using BUDS3 - any help or suggestions appreciated?!

Not knowing BUDS3 but I would suggest looking for an error or transaction log to see if you can get more details. For what it's worth, pull up Google Gemini and enter the following prompt: "Where are the error logs found on BRP's BUD3 diagnostic system?" This tells you how to read the BUDS3...

Still raining. Looks like snow in the mountains so I'm postponing the Mount Nebo Loop ride for a day or two. It's been a long time since we've had rain for four days straight like this at this time of year. Glad we did Big Cottonwood Canyon last week as the road is closed due to flooding from...

Recommend any Rear shock replacements other than the $$$ Elka's??

If you watch Dave Moss and his excellent YouTube channel ‘Two Clicks Out’ it is very obvious how suspension tuning is a real art. Now he’s mostly tuning for the track and he covers everything from reading tires to setting sag and discussing damping. For most of us, this level of tuning is far...

Well Monticello Utah over the weekend was interesting. Torrential rain at times, flash floods, trails washed out. Kept the Range Rover to the blacktop as the trails were a sea of mud and many washed away. The remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel did its thing. Played host to a dozen touring...

What can I do to get a straight shot at the Rear Tire valve Stem?

When I was younger I went to work for a company developing digital telephone exchanges. Every employee had to do a months training of everything from wire wrapping to working up a phone pole to sling wires no matter your role. Of course it was miserable weather when it was my day to go up the...

    Welding for fun

This is true. Our local school district just bought the old E-Bay campus. They are going to move the school district there and build a much larger vocational training campus for all the High Schools in the district. College prep is important, but so is vocational training and setting students...
