• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Elka/Yoshi

Recently added the Elka shocks (front & rear) and a Yoshimura exhaust and am pleased with both mods. The shocks definitely improve the ride & handling, and the Yoshi with the DB reducer adds a nice rumble without being too loud. Not cheap, but money well spent. BobSled

Rode my wife's RS the other day and noticed a clicking sound coming from the front tires when I applied the brakes, don't recall hearing this before. It is a 2009 with only 7,000 miles. Any ideas? Thanks, RJB

    Honda Trike

Planning a bike trip through Utah this summer, flying out and renting bikes. My wife rides a Spyder RS and will not ride a 2 wheeler again but it is no surprise I cannot find any to rent. Closest I can find is a Honda Trike. Can anybody offer any comparisons? If she can ride a Spyder is it...

    Rain On Visor

Got caught in the rain a couple of times this weekend. On Saturday had trouble seeing through the visor so I thought an application of RainX would be the solution. Actually seemed to make it worse! Anybody using something on the visor that helps the rain run off? BobSled

    Spyder Rental?

Would like to take a bike trip out West (Grand Canyon or Yellowstone) this fall but do not have the time to trailer the Spyder all the way from Florida. Found several places to rent a motorcycle for myself but wife will only drive a Sypder. Anybody recommend a dealer I could contact to inquire...

    Drop Tail Trailer

Pulled the bike From Tampa up to N. Georgia for a ride into N. Carolina and back. Most folks that saw the bike on the trailer thought it was custom made for the bike because it fit so well. The drop tail operation is very slick, hydraulic pump handle raises the ramp and a twist a knob it...

    Electrical Short

When I installed the mudflap lights a few months ago one of the wires running along the inside of the fender must not have been securely cable tied and rubbed against the tire until it wore through. In the process of wearing through it shorted out the lights, bike ran like crap and quit at a...

    Mirror Extensions

Installed the ESI mirror extensions, and the right one vibrates at certain rpms so much that is almost useless. Everything is as tight as I can get it. Spoke with ESI and they said that is just the way some bikes are regarding vibration. Any suggestions?

    Heading for the Hills!

Trailering the Sypder up to N. Georgia next month for my first ride in anything but the flatlands of FL. Meeting up with my brother who has a Yamaha cruiser. As this is my first bike I don't have any background to compare with 2 wheelers, so I'm wondering how the how does the Sypder run the...

    Hot Weather Gear

With apologies to you Northerners, hot weather is not too far away for those of us in the South. When it is 90 degrees and humid, what do you guys wear to cover you legs? Do you switch from a full face to a half face helmut?

    Motorcycle?

I fit right in the Can-Am market of buyers who were too concerned about riding a motorcycle but convinced the Spyder is considerably safer and took the plunge. Love the Sypder, but now thinking about adding a 2 wheeler. Is there a direct correlation between the increased risk of a bike and fun...

    Wheel Balance

I have an interesting wheel balance question. Bought the Spyder 11/09 and after about 2,000 miles developed a shake in the handle bars at around 65 mph. Figuring I threw a weight I brought it to the dealer. The wheels were balanced, but when they test drove it still felt the shake. Process of...

    Saddlebags

Looking to save some money and purchased the Nelson-Rigg CL-950 instead of the R-35s. Only problem is in order to locate them far enough back to allow the passenger to use the extended footpegs they block the turn signals. I believe the R-35 bags require relocating the turn signals, and I...
