• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Some years ago they desided to terminate the national FM radio broadcasting here in Norway and go for DAB instead. Many cars and home radios went quiet, but some local amateur driven stations still kept going. So today I finaly installed a DAB+ adapter on my RT. I waited to get one until I found...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

My best buddy came and picked me up on his KTM 1290 and drove me to his house, where my RT has been hibernating in his garage. Finally got the rubber back on the ground and fired it up. Everything was working perfectly, but I do need a new battery for sure. The ride home was great and sun was...

Looking for new Comms - what do you use?

We use Interphone Tour and are very happy with those. Our previous Interphone 5's did not have good sound and the batteries did not hold for long. Now we have good sound with the Tour version and last week after putting my set on a new helmet, the voice said "Battery high" when turning it on. I...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Put the seat back on the Spyder after having a local saddle maker put some more foam in for me to sit on and also put some more foam behind for the wife to sit on. The Spyder is still on the Big Blue lift, but the snow is almost gone now and I am so looking forward to getting the wheels back on...

How Many Ride an RT Limited After The 5 years Of BRP Warranty Has Expired?

Still enjoying my 2012 RT SE5. Throttle body replaced twice under warranty. If I remember correctly, it got fried due to some wrong values in the fly-by-wire settings. It got too high voltage or amps, not sure what exactly. Shop got a new throttle body installed and new software loaded and I...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Picked up my seat after a local saddle maker put some additional foam under its skin. So now I am eager to get it tested on a long ride next Spring. This old gentleman did a great job and asked me if I was happy with a price of $70? I gave him $80 and shook his hand.:)

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

A company in Holland have been converting Goldwings to Reverse Trikes for a while now. They look rather nice. Converted Goldwing R18: https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/Custom/Sturgis_R18_Trike.htm

Anyone know what these things on the front wheels are?

They looked kinda cool at first, but they ate batteries like they were starving, so I took them off. They also made the Spyder a bit wider and would be the first thing to hit.

Anyone know what these things on the front wheels are?

These are LED lights placed in a cylinder that is mounted in the rim center instead of the standard flush mount cap. I have a set laying around and mine came with wireless remote control and multicolour options. I will see if I can take some pics and post them.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Lucky you ! ;) We have already had a cpl of nights with frost on the ground, so I'd better stick to the safeness of my 4wd Volvo till Spring comes.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Put mine away for the winter last Wednesday. A friend of mine has a large garage and offered me a place to park the RT. (y) His garage is heated and fully equipped with all kinds of tools needed. Help - new tires and wheel speed sensor errors - Limp Mode with Codes C006C, C003A, C1290, & P2159. Anyone else? Any advice?

B.S. indeed, can the bike know what tyres are on? My RT has had just one set of Kenda tyres cause they came mounted on the bike when I bought it. Now I have Vredesteins on front and Nankang on rear. All mounted by the Can Am dealer without any questions. (y)
