• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I called and spoke to Elijah over at Lamonsters Garage on Monday morning to ask if they had any Elka II rear shocks on hand and was very pleased to learn that they did. He took down our weights and our riding preferences, had the shock set AND SHIPPED that same day! UPS had it on my door step...

Planning a ride - Virginia/W. Virginia rural roads - any experience on these roads?

We're headed out next month on an extended trip that's spanning 10 states, largely avoiding Interstate highways. I feel good about the routes that I've put together but have a little uncertainty regarding a part of the trip that travels west to east along state and county roads in West Virginia...

Which of the following Highway Pegs do you recommend?

I've been hesitant to install a set of these because of my height. At 6'3", when I stretch my legs out straight my feet are well forward of where the pegs would be. I'd be resting my calf or Achilles on the peg and I'm not sure how comfortable that would be. Anyone have experience with that?

    JRI Shock Review

My satisfaction with the JRi shocks and conversation with Ron are practically identical to yours. Absolutely pleased, and shockingly (no pun intended) my wife noticed the difference in ride from the pillion seat. Side note, I didn't need to do any cosmetic trimming and the alignment is still...

Can you show us how you installed the power cables for your heated gear?

Would you mind sharing another picture of the port for the passenger, from a little distance to show where you found room to install it? Thanks!

What did you do to your Spyder today?

It was sunny and 48 degrees here this afternoon, so we took a ride to try the warming gear for the first time. I'm happy to report that everything worked as it should have, and we're very pleased with the results. It's nice to know that the riding season can now be extended into mid to late fall...

Have you had any issues with your 2024 Spyder's Brake fluid?

FWIW, I just performed the first brake flush on our 2023 RT and was impressed by how dark the fluid was. We have about 13K miles it, from a large variety driving conditions.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Which bar? I started to mount our x5 on the Pillion hand grip bars, but the rubber coating there doesn't make me feel confident that the camera won't be moving around a lot.
