• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone identify this exhaust system? (And how do I quiet it down?)

Just switch to the F3 muffler. There's not much in it, just an empty chamber with packing around the perforated pipes. Without the CAT, it sounds pretty good to me, but not obnoxiously loud.

Not a Spyder Ryde, and not my ride either, but check out 'The Gorge Road'!

I've driven in England a fair bit. It takes a couple days to get comfortable, and you have to stay alert to keep your long-term muscle memory from causing the wrong reaction when something unexpected comes up, but in a car, being seated on the right does serve to remind you that things are...

    'The Lamonster Chronicles'

I used to work in nuclear power, and welders are some of the most under-rated professionals in the world. It's as much an art and talent as it is a learned skill. Many people can weld, but few are welders. The true top of the heap, code certified welders, are masters of their craft. Hope Lamont...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I swear, the first time I have to remove all that bodywork, I'm going to get rid of the stock airbox, and build a simpler cold air intake and filter system. I'd like to route it to place a cone filter in the area behind the grille. I see quite a bit of intake air temperature rise in hot weather...

Is there a device to add to a Seat Backrest that Massages the lower back?

Perhaps a young Asian lady? ;) :ROFLMAO:

I'm in the Philippines right now, and I can honestly say I wouldn't be surprised to find that here. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Trying to adapt a Spyder to custom 3-wheeler - any help appreciated?

This, plus they're readily available used, due to the propensity of riders of these bikes to become brain donors. ;)

Trying to adapt a Spyder to custom 3-wheeler - any help appreciated?

That's true. And adapting that steering angle sensor to another system would be next to impossible. Also, don't forget the yaw sensor.

Trying to adapt a Spyder to custom 3-wheeler - any help appreciated?

Be aware, the stability control is calibrated for the Spyder's vehicle dynamics, and will work differently on another vehicle. It may be acceptable, or it may be completely off in left field.

Trying to adapt a Spyder to custom 3-wheeler - any help appreciated?

The 1330 first appeared in 2014. I have a 2015 and have had no troubles with it.

Trying to adapt a Spyder to custom 3-wheeler - any help appreciated?

You could always try splicing the wheel speed sensors together on the Spyder and going for a test ride. I considered running all mine through a switch so I could disable the nanny on demand, but I really don't want to start cutting into the harness unless I know it would work. What year Spyder...

Looking for new Comms - what do you use?

My wife and I have Sena Outrush and Outrush R helmets. My Outrush R works quite well when paired with my phone for calls and music, but I do get some static when her Outrush is connected for intercom. I picked up her Outrush for about half price on closeout, and they happened to have her size...

There's definitely a double meaning in that statement. :ROFLMAO:

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

The center metal sleeve needs to be tight, and the bolt properly torqued to provide rigidity. The rubber or poly bushing in the shock end will allow for sufficient rotation.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

You forgot the tire tracks, and footprints leading away from the bike. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I recall several instances of a youthful me riding my dirtbike in a cast, which is how I ended up with the cast in the first place. 🤣

After hearing so much hoopla, I finally tried Buc-ee's! Never Again!

You can still move your car and go inside for the receipt. It's not everyone behind you's fault that the printer doesn't work.
