• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Looking at installing F3 handlebars on an RT - can I use F3 handlebars pre 2024?

I would like to install F3 regular handle bars on my 2023 RT. The parts dealer told me they did not think that could be done because F3 handlebars for the 2023 were a three-part handlebar. F3's did not change to a one-piece handlebar till 2024. The pullback handlebars position are just a little too short for me. Could someone tell me if I could use a F3 handlebars pre 2024?

I spent a couple of minutes looking at parts diagrams and part numbers and I'm not quite sure what your dealer was saying or why you think F3 handlebars would be better? In 2023, both the RT and F3 handlebars are 3-piece. In 2024, both of them are 1-piece. I didn't understand the dealer's logic or what he might have been looking at.

However, on to your problem, the 2023 accessories catalog shows that the short reach handlebars - 219400909 - are compatible to both the F3 and any 20+ RT. On both the RT and the F3, the short reach bars will come further back and be closer to your body than the stock bars. So, unless I'm missing the boat here, and that happens, the F3 stock bars won't help you any if the short reach bars are not far enough back for you.
