• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: My 2022 Momentum 23G Toy Hauler– The Ultimate "Spyder Cave" (Rochester, NY)

Hey everyone,

After a lot of back and forth, I've decided to let go of our 2022 Grand Design Momentum G-Class 23G for $41,500. I’ve been around here for quite a while, and you’ve likely seen me posting about our trips or asking for advice, but we just aren't getting the road time this rig deserves lately.

I specifically bought the 23G because finding a trailer that fits a full-sized Spyder (especially an RT Limited) can be a headache. This one has the 15-foot garage, so I could pull the Spyder in and still have room for our BRP622 trailer.

Here is a link to the Grand Design Website for the 23G model. Momentum 23G

Some key notes:
  • The Garage: 15 feet of space with the Happi-Jac sofas that roll over into a bed.
  • The Master: Most trailers this length make you crawl over each other to get out of bed. This has the King Bed Slide, which was a non-negotiable for us.
  • The Patio: The rear deck is the best part. Nothing beats pulling the Spyder out, dropping the deck, and having a coffee on the "porch" before a morning ride.

Included "Fellow Rider" Extras ($2,500+ Value):Since I’m moving away from towing for now, I’m including everything I’ve added to make this a turn-key setup. I don't want these sitting in my garage, and I’d rather they go to a member here:

  • Reese Weight Distribution & Sway Control: ($1,259) – Honestly, this made towing through the NY hills so much less stressful.
  • Lippert Solid Steps: ($500) – Total game changer for stability.
  • LevelMate Pro: ($100) – You can level the rig from your phone before you even get out of the truck.
  • Electronic Keyless Lock: ($200) – No fumbling for keys when you're geared up.
  • Awning Shade Screens: ($230) – Essential for those sunny days on the deck.
The Details:

  • Factory Solar (300W)
  • Rockford Fosgate Audio
  • Fuel Station on Board (30 Gal)
  • Price: $41,500 for the whole package.
  • Location: Rochester, NY (Right near the Finger Lakes).
Unit just had its annual service April 6th, so it is fresh and ready for a new owner now. I'd much rather sell it to someone here who will appreciate the garage space as much as I have than trade it back to a dealer.

Shoot me a DM if you want to chat or come take a look!

Housekeeping post that appears in every Ad:

Please make sure that you, both sellers and potential buyers, read and follow the directions in the READ FIRST! Sticky (& all the posts in that thread) that's found at the top of this forum section and linked below:

https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/read-first-how-to-use-the-for-sale-by-owner-sub-forum.146354/

paying particular heed to:
  • the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
  • if you add any pics (and you really should, if you want to sell!), the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky, especially if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a - between each image! (Having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your 1st post here appear on the index page - which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting an extra pic or two in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks/months will also satisfy the first point above ;));
  • do not display personal contact details, unique identifiers, or discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
  • the need to properly finalise the Ad by changing the prefix to mark it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything, don't want to sell any more, or just don't need the Ad any longer! ;)
Good Luck with your sale. (y)
