Basically, I over-torqued the transmission oil outlet magnetic plug upon installation after draining the oil.
So, with my neighbour we managed to remove the plug and that was no easy task. The threads on the bike (transmission oil outlet) are not in great shape, so after Googling, it seems that using a "Time-Sert 1215C M12 x 1.5 Drain Pan Thread Repair Kit" is the way to go. It seems straightforward enough per the info and instructions available (please, no comments about the over-torquing...).
So using plenty of grease on the drill bit and tap, making sure we're square and flush, what else should I be aware of?
Also, I'm on the West Island of Montreal, if anybody knows of anyone or a business that could do this, I'd be interested to know. Acknowledging that moving the thing without a trailer will be a pain...
Anyway, I'd appreciate any input. I don't need critiques on the torqueing, I've already banged my head enough!
