• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I mount an iPhone on the handlebars of a 2020 up to 2023 RT and play music from it over the Spyder's sound system?

Hi folks I’ve been doing my research but I can’t seem to get a definitive answer ( it’s probably me ) , I’m picking up a 2022 RT Sea to Sky and two feature things I really need to be able to do is mount my iPhone in a Ram mount on the handle bars and be able to plug the iPhone into bike for power and have the Google Maps directions voice play over the Spyder sound system and two be able to plug a usb with music on it play over the Spyder sound system. Can you fine people please tell me if this is going to be able to be done? Thanks greatly appreciate the help.

There are "Audio" and "Audio Control" sections on Page 47 the 2022 Spyder RT Operator's Guide.
There appear to be controls for setting the input to the AUX connector, and controlling the output to either a helmet headset or to the speakers.
But, it says the USB AUX connector is specifically for an iPhone.
There is a separate Audio Input Jack, for which it says:

Any audio player connected in this jack will be played through the audiosystem.

Both connectors are in the glove box located in front of the handlebars.

If you don't have a copy of the Operator's Guide you can download an Acrobat PDF copy from:
