This morning we delivered gifts for the children at St. Jude's Children's Ranch in Boulder City there were 6 motorcycles and my Spyder in the group. After playing Santa and checking out the car museum we rode through Lake Mead National Recreation Area to lunch. This is a beautiful ride with some nice curves and it is one of my favorite places to ride I was pleased that the leader led us on a spirited ride and we didn't have any pokey cages to slow us down. There was a new guy, Bill, on the ride and after lunch he asked me about the Spyder and said that I was only the second Spyder he had ever ridden with. He said in his usual riding group there is an 80 year old guy who has a Spyder and he always lags behind the group. Bill said that he always wondered if he couldn't keep up because of the Spyder or if it was just the rider. He said after watching me ride he realized that the Spyder can definitely keep up!
