• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for recommendations on an app to generate QR Codes?

Looking for recommendations - I would like to find an app that would allow me to generate QR codes (hopefully free or low cost) that would allow me to make them for routes on Google Maps so that people could download or link to them for the upcoming Three Wheeler Rally. We would then add them to the brochures also.

thanks!

Google Chrome browser will create fee-free QR codes for websites. Open the website, then click on the 3 dots at the RH end of the address bar. Towards the bottom of the popup menu is 'Cast, save and Share'. Click on that and one of the options under 'Share' in the popup menu is 'Create QR code'.

I use this site all the time https://www.qrcode-monkey.com Lets you choose what the QR code does, change colors, shapes add logos all free.

That one worked for me, but the others didn't. I suspect the increased dot density & computer screen pixelation interfered with reading.

That one was created with the "free" app. Turns out it is a limited trial. I think I might just bite the bullet, spend the $35 bucks for the month, and get QR codes done for all the routes and the picture scavenger hunt...
