• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recommend any Floorboards for Canyons?

I have been following other web sites on floorboards for my Canyon Redrock. As of yet, there are no recommendations for any Canyon users. I had floorboards on my previous Canyon Am Spyder and they were great. Great place to put your feet on long rides for changing body position and protection from road debris. I love my Canyon for better suspension, ground clearance, and all roads capability compared to my previous Spyder. Logic tells me just order them and have my dealership install floorboards.
Yes easy install but my dealership’s success is my success. Looking for your wisdom.

@Rubicon guy how solid are they? Do they flex much and do you have to be careful with how much weight you put on them?

I just noticed Slingmods have a new style with LED's which looks better to me, although I don’t care much for the LED's.

With respect to your rights to do whatever you want to your property.... I just don't get the point of buying a Canyon for it's better suspension & ground clearance in an off-road situation, then bolting something onto the side of it that is lower to the ground than the foot pegs & is more likely to get damaged. Parts left out don't cost anything & don't break.

I weighed 223 pounds today. I have stood on the floor boards full weight and great stability. The floor boards do not hang below the carriage of the Can Am Spyder Redrock. Yesterday my drive was on all asphalt roads but had to alter my drive line for safety were one deer and one snake. The Foorboards are for me to move my legs around for comfort on long rides and safety from road debris. Driving heavy duty road equipment, motorcycles, jeeps and having letters behind my name can not convey the message that the floorboards are “rock solid”. I do not break equipment, it becomes part of me I can feel. There is a reason why the Can Am Canyon Redrock is the “Motorcycle of the Year”, read the article. “Floarboards” will be part of the additional equipment.
