Three Arrested In Lee County Theft Investigation

DIXON — Three Dixon residents were arrested following a theft investigation at the Nelson Township Building, authorities said. Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said 26-year-old Bryan Kettley, and 20-year-old Codi Despain were taken into custody Sunday after an investigation found they allegedly cut wires to a fuel tank and removed diesel fuel from the property.

Police said the fuel was put into a pickup truck and an ATV, causing both vehicles to become inoperable as they both had gasoline engines.
The two then attempted to flee on the ATV before abandoning it nearby. Kettley and Despain were charged with criminal damage to government property, theft of government property, and theft under $500. Both were processed and released under state law. During the investigation, deputies also arrested 22-year-old London Thomas on a charge of obstructing justice after he was found near the abandoned ATV and allegedly helped conceal it. He was also processed and released.

:ROFLMAO:

So eventually they will have to go to court and pay some fines, might even have to pay restitution...

Oh, and the cost of repairing their vehicles, of course. 🤣

Idiots, lol

When I was in my teens I had an acquaintance, not a close friend, who siphoned fuel from a tractor to use in his boat. The diesel tractor fuel did not do well in his outboard. That was over 60 years ago. Being an idiot is not a new thing.

Hold my beer and watch this!

SYCAMORE, Ill. (WTVO) — A motorcyclist, arrested for DUI and then released pretrial, reportedly returned to the jail while still drunk and was arrested again, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said deputies were called to the DeKalb County Jail, at 150 N. Main Street in Sycamore, around 6 a.m. Sunday morning to check the status of Thomas Raap, 32, who authorities said had driven his motorcycle to the jail only hours after being released for a prior DUI charge.

The sheriff’s office did not say why Raap returned to the jail, but investigators said he was found to still be under the influence of alcohol.

He was arrested and charged with another DUI and turned over to corrections officers, police said.

Must have missed his poker run!

Many decades ago most all Marine Corps organizations had at least one poster somewhere of John Wayne as Sergeant John M. Stryker USMC in the 1949 film Sands of Iwo Jima. The caption at the bottom of the poster said, "Life is tough, but it's tougher if you're stupid."

Check out the dude's last name, you can't make this up! With a last name like that, he never had a chance. lol

Man accused of stealing woman’s underwear facing burglary, stalking-related charges

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW/Gray News) - A Wisconsin man accused of stealing a woman’s underwear from her home is facing multiple charges.

According to the Stevens Point Police Department, John Stalker was arrested after officers responded to a woman’s residence, where she reported that all her underwear had been stolen from her bedroom.

She reported that nothing else was taken from her room or from anywhere else in the home.

Investigators identified Stalker as the suspect after spotting him on a video taken from a nearby residence, police said.

Stalker’s charges included burglary and multiple counts of bail jumping, with those charges stemming from two open stalking cases.

During the investigation, officers said they found the woman’s underwear in his backpack.

Stalker appeared in Portage County Court on Wednesday for a bond hearing, where Judge Louis Molepske set a $40,000 cash bond.

The Stevens Point Police Department noted that it is also investigating Stalker for a similar case.

During the search of his property, investigators said they found more women’s underwear, but they were not connected to either of the cases that had been reported.

Stalker’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 22.

I reckon she's probably buying all new underwear now!! There's no way she's ever gonna be touching any of the stuff he stole, let alone wearing any of it, it'd be traumatising on sooo many levels!

Fear not Peter!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that, in my opinion, no one is ever going to break into your house and make off with all of your underwear.

YMMV
