• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Why has the Mid-West become a Spyder Rally Wasteland???

This list reinforces the OP's comment on the fly-over zone being devoid of said rally locations. That stated, I rode H-D for a number of years. I really enjoyed 3 local HOG chapters with their rides and activities.
I got into 3-wheelers by taking a Motorcycle Safety Foundation 3-Wheel Basic Rider Course run by a company here in Tennessee.

Not too long after I bought my Spyder, I was invited to a local ride they organized. There was a decent turn out, but I was the only CAN-AM rider.
There was one HD 3-wheeler, and the rest were mostly HD riders, although there were also some sport bikes.

The owners of the training company did stop by where I was parked and talked to me, but they were riding HDs.
After leaving the downtown gathering point they led us through town, and then to the HD dealer on the South side. While everyone else lined up to turn left into the HD dealer's parking lot, I moved into the right lane and kept going.

I have been to a couple of CAN-AM gatherings and did meet some very nice people. I even made a 400 mile trek to attend a Spyder event in Arkansas. But group rides and hanging out in parking lots with other Spyder and Ryker owners just isn't my thing. :p

...unless Spyderlovers is planning something... ;)
